Push Grate (iLogic)

Inventor iLogic Design Automation

Machine description:

The grate with the boiler is used for burning various types of materials. The material is placed on grate bars, where some of them are movable. Thanks to this, the material moves during the process, which allows it to be burned accurately. Air blowers placed under the grate bars allow to ensure the optimal process.

Used technique:

Design automation was created for welded part and for all predicted variants . The parts as e.g. profiles, sheets, flat bars etc. are derived from the base component. Others are standard and are replaced, e.g. revision doors, air pipes, console for cylinders etc.

The modeling type was used: Derived-To-Assembly (about types, you can read here).

User Interface:

The interface and model have been designed for people with minimal knowledge of the machine's operation. The occurrence of an error during construction has been minimized due to built-in safety functions. All correlations in the model and replacement of parts occur automatically. The user's action is limited to selecting or providing the appropriate values.
